Cinnamon Leaf Oil (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum)
The Warmth Giver & Hygiene Pro

What is Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Leaf Oil? It is the essential oil from the leaves of the true Ceylon cinnamon tree. Important: It differs chemically significantly from cinnamon bark oil. While the bark smells like Christmas cookies (cinnamaldehyde), the leaves smell more spicy and clove-like because they contain a lot of eugenol. This makes the leaf oil much more skin-compatible than the sharp bark oil.
🔥 Warmth & Circulation
Cinnamon oil is pure energy for the skin.
- Warming Effect: It is one of the strongest warming oils. Ideal for cold feet or in sports creams to deeply warm the muscles.
- Circulation: It massively boosts microcirculation, which makes the skin rosy and promotes metabolism in the tissue.
🛡 Hygiene & Protection
The high content of eugenol makes this oil a weapon against unwanted germs.
Areas of use:
- Foot Care: It acts strongly against fungi and bacteria, which is why it is often used in foot baths or creams against foot odor and athlete's foot.
- Cleansing: In soaps, it ensures hygienic cleanliness.
⚠ What you should watch out for
Dosage is everything: Even though leaf oil is milder than bark oil, it is still a very potent oil. It must never be applied undiluted, as it can otherwise lead to skin irritation. Pregnant women should avoid products containing cinnamon (can induce labor).
